Emergency treatment of acute anaphylaxis
Emergency treatment of acute anaphylaxis (under expert supervision),
Management should start with airway, breathing, circulation (ABC) followed by administration of IM adrenaline
- By intramuscular injection of adrenaline injection 1 in 1000 (1 mg/mL) for the emergency treatment of anaphylaxis. 
- Anterolateral aspect of the middle third of the thigh 
- doses may be repeated several times if necessary at 5 minute intervals 
For Child 1 month–5 years         150 micrograms (0.15ml of 1 in 1000 adrenaline)
For Child 6–11 years 300 micrograms (0.3 ml of 1 in 1000 adrenaline)
For Child 12–17 years 500 micrograms (0.5 ml of 1 in 1000 adrenaline)
For Adult 500 micrograms (0.5 ml of 1 in 1000 adrenaline)
Adrenaline should be followed by parenteral chlorphenamine 10mg (slow iv or im) and then hydrocortisone 200mg (slow iv or im)
